RESTAURANT SUPERVISOR - INDEPENDENT RETAIL OUTLET WITH ON-SITE RESTAURANT - 40 HOUR CONTRACT - LYMINGTON - £28,000 SALARY

We are assisting with the recruitment of a Restaurant Supervisor for an independent outlet with an on-site restaurant.  This is to work in the restaurant, reporting to the Operations Manager and overseeing the day to day operational control of the cafe / restaurant.

The restaurant operation is based in the centre of the business, with approximately 120 covers, there is a separate function area available for hire and generates approximately £20,000 per week on food and drink.

With several developments to the business and an investment in the growth and development of the retail section, the restaurant is seen as a crucial area for growth and expansion in 2024.

The business are looking for someone to support the restaurant operation, dealing directly with customers and working with all avenues of the business .  The role requires:

  • Opening and closing the restaurant operation
  • Completing ordering and stock management
  • Working closely with the kitchen operation
  • Serving customers
  • Dealing with queries and resolving any complaint issues

We are looking for someone with previous experience within a restaurant environment, ideally with a relatively high volume footfall, you will:

  • Be organised and able to manage your time effectively
  • Take ownership of the role
  • Have strong communication skills
  • Have experience at ordering
  • Have previous waiting experience
