Overall objectives

Responsible for analysing processes, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing strategies to enhance productivity and quality. They collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct data analysis, and implement Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to optimise workflows. Strong problem-solving skills, project management, and communication are essential for success in this role.

Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.

Key Tasks

• Analyse manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, assess current practices, and develop improvement strategies.
• Implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to optimise production workflows and reduce waste.
• Conduct root cause analysis for process deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Lead and support continuous improvement projects to enhance overall operational performance.
• Utilise statistical methods to analyse data and provide actionable insights.
• Develop and deliver training programs to ensure the effective implementation of process improvements.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of implemented initiatives.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in plastic manufacturing technologies.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence within the organisation.
