Role Summary

This role covers a Lineside Surveillance Auditor position within the Composites and Airbus Assembly Value Stream in the Aerospace industry. Our client, is looking for a Line Side Auditor to join their team. As a Line Side Auditor, you will be responsible for auditing and overseeing manufacturing operations within the composite value stream. This includes using audit checklists, supporting root cause and corrective action activities, participating in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities, attending Quality Station/Intervention Centre, and providing NADCAP support. Your role will be vital in ensuring that all quality standards and procedures are complied with, contributing to the success of the team and the achievement of acceptable standards in the manufacturing process.

Hours:

Permanent lates OR night's available

Lates: (Mon- Thursday) 14:15 - 22:30 / (Fri) 12:00-18:00

Nights: (Mon- Thursday) 22:30 - 6:00 / (Fri) 18:00-13:30

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Promoting a safe working environment without risk to health and minimizing environmental impact
  • Ensuring accurate and timely clocking and booking of time and attendance
  • Maintaining clean and organized workstations, following a clear desk policy
  • Complying with all quality standards, processes, and procedures
  • Supporting cost reduction and management initiatives
  • Keeping knowledge and training up to date for necessary operations
  • Actively participating in team meetings and being prepared to share knowledge
  • Performing any other reasonable duties in line with the role's level of responsibility


Role Specific:

  • Routine audit of work in progress manufacturing paperwork
  • Routine audit of process and work instructions
  • Product, paperwork, and system auditing
  • Communicating audit performance
  • Oversight of workplace housekeeping and FOD prevention
  • Participating in root cause corrective action activities
  • Attending Quality Station/Intervention Centre
  • Contributing to APQP element creation and maintenance
  • Follow up and investigation of Quality Concerns
  • Record database maintenance


Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge and experience of composite manufacturing process
  • Experience of ARB process
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and IT
  • Ability to contribute effectively to team-working and group discussions
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to produce clear and precise written reports
  • Possess strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work to timescales and achieve deadlines
