Our client, a leading aerospace company, is seeking an experienced ESH Specialist to join their team. As an EHS Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing site processes and procedures for environmental health and safety, regulatory compliance, and business requirements. You will be responsible for promoting a safe workplace environment and fostering an EHS-conscious culture throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Promote a safe workplace environment without risk to health and minimize the impact to the environment
- Ensure compliance with all Environmental, Health, and Safety policies, procedures, rules, and regulations
- Accurately and timely record clockings and bookings for time and attendance and job costings
- Maintain clean and organized workstations, adhering to a clear desk policy
- Comply with all Quality standards, processes, and procedures, minimizing wastage
- Support cost reduction and management initiatives
- Keep knowledge and training up to date for necessary operations
- Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative working environment
- Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned

Key Requirements:
- NEBOSH General Certificate in Health & Safety
- Several years of experience in multiple EHS areas in a manufacturing environment
- In-depth knowledge of Environmental and Health & Safety Regulations
- Proficient in Risk Assessment, COSHH, PUWER, DSEAR, and Safety Management Systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office

Desirable Qualifications/Experience:
- NEBOSH Diploma in Health & Safety
- IEMA Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management
- Six Sigma training
- Noise at Work Training
- Industrial Hygienist competency qualification
