Role Overview:
 
As a Tender Planner at my client, the individual will play a pivotal role in maximizing the success of bids and schemes. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, the Tender Planner will be responsible for meticulously planning projects to ensure compliance with contract requirements while identifying and mitigating potential risks.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
- Prepares detailed tender programmes that comply with contract requirements and effectively communicate time-related risks.
- Develops robust project methodologies based on best practices and innovative solutions.
- Resource-loads programmes for comparison with estimated resource usage.
- Identifies temporary work requirements and collaborates with the engineering team to develop solutions.
- Highlights project risks and contributes to the tender risk and opportunities register.

Experience & Qualifications:
 
- Experience in the civil engineering sector, ideally in highways and/or rail projects.
- Knowledge of construction techniques and outputs.
- Understanding of access issues and programme constraints.
- Familiarity with design management principles.
- Good communication and IT skills, including proficiency in current programming software.
