Job title: Mobile Multi-Skilled Engineer

Location: SWS Otterbourne WSW Otterbourne SO21 2SW 

Length: 3 months initial contract to extend

Work hours: Mon-Fri 08.00 - 17:00

Pay Rate: £36000 / 48 weeks per year (includes 4 weeks leave) / 40 hours per week = £18.75/hour PAYE

Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services are currently recruiting a Mobile Multi-Skilled Engineer for a FM Services and Engineering company. 

This role requires you to undertake improvement work, maintenance and repairs of plant, services and physical assets including testing and routine fault finding. Some of other duties include;

• Interpret and work from all instructions, drawings, and specifications appropriate to his/her own trade, without supervision.

• Set up New Work appropriate to his/her own trade using relevant tools, equipment, and machinery, without supervision, as appropriate to his/her grade.

• After appropriate training, work off tower scaffolding, MEWP’s, ladders, and step ladders and within confined spaces.

• To carry out unsupervised maintenance and repairs and report any defects or unusual circumstances to the Supervisor.

• Requirement to learn new techniques with training, as necessary.

• Scope of work will include entering departments containing service users undergoing various treatments/procedures after reporting to departmental staff. Occasional exposure to distressing or emotional circumstances could be encountered.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Previous experience in the same role

• Base Electrical Qualification C&G Part A and B OR C&G 236 Pt 1 & Pt 2 // C&G 2330 Level 2 and 3 OR AM1 & AM2 OR C&G 2360 Pt1 & Pt 2 // 18th Edition C&G 2382 – 18 // C&G 2391 or 2394/2395

• BTEC Level 3 Certification in Mechanical Engineering OR BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Mechanical Engineering OR BTEC Level 3 in HVAC C&G 6188 Level 2 Heating and Ventilation OR C&G 7188 Level 3 Competent Person Mechanical and Pressure Systems

• Driving licence
