Year 2/3 Class Teacher job available

This school is looking for a Year 2/3 class teacher to join their school for the rest of the academic year, until the end of the summer term. The school is looking for a Year 2/3 class teacher, 2 days a week on a part-time basis. The days working will be Thursday and Fridays.

This job has become available to give the full time class teacher the opportunity to reduce their timetable to part time. The school are looking to appoint 1 class teacher to provide regular cover two days a week.

As a class teacher, the planning has been prepared but tweaking may be required. The class teacher will not be responsible for additional responsibilities such as assessments and parents evening. The class is a mixed Year 2/3 class, with 19 pupils in Year 3 and 9 pupils in Year 2.

You will be a qualified teacher, ideally with experience teaching in primary settings, though this is not essential. This job will involve teaching aspects of both the Key Stage 1 and Key stage 2 curriculum and being able to differentiate between the different learning objectives of pupils. You will be provided pre-planned lessons, but the right teacher will be able to engage pupils and ensure that each pupil continues to build upon their learning.

This school is located on the outskirts of Salisbury. The school is easily accessible on public transport from Salisbury. Parking is available on sight for drivers.
