Client Support Specialist - Southampton outskirts - Own transport essential - Hybrid position working from home 1-2 days a week - £25,000-£27,000 - 12 month fixed term contract

We are looking for a client support specialist with exceptional customer service acumen and experience to integrate into our clients specialised customer operations team on a fixed-term basis. You will be tasked with delivering unparalleled service across various channels (eBusiness, on-site consignment stock, direct ordering, distribution), effectively managing enquiries, and elevating the customer journey whenever possible. Candidates should possess robust IT proficiencies, excellent communication and relationship building skills, and have a passion for customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing customer purchase orders accurately and efficiently through SAP including monitoring daily reports and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Tracking courier shipments and communicating to the customer regarding any delays.
  • Effectively dealing with customer enquiries, providing a resolution which may involve liaising with other departments.
  • Using multiple channels to communicate with customers including live chat through the website.
  • Processing invoices through the relevant eProcurement platforms.
  • Assisting with management of customer consignment stock (Helix systems)
  • Accurately processing stock checks for our Helix systems and communicating amendments to the customer and colleagues.
  • Updating CRM regularly to track customer issues, queries and adding information to assist the sales teams (i.e. procurement contact information)
  • Logging and tracking cross departmental tasks through MS Teams.

Key skills and experience

  • Passion for customer service
  • Excellent attention to detail producing accurate results
  • Ability to use a range of PC based applications - M/S Teams, Excel, Word and Outlook are key
  • Logical problem solver. Interrogate data to establish root cause
  • Ability to use multiple IT systems concurrently.
