£40,000 - £42,000/annum

Responsibilities

  • Interact daily with project team members, internally and externally, to ensure timely progress of engineering projects.
  • Work with Production Engineering to load projects to ERP system.
  • Work with Procurement to resolve exception reports created by ERP system.
  • Work with Production and Warehouse to manage material deliveries to Manufacturing.
  • Work with Customer Services to manage orders through ERP system.
  • Work with Project Management to report status of projects.
  • Work with Engineering to resolve engineering issues.
  • Work with Technical Product Managers to collate technical documentation for final safety sign off of equipment.
  • Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.
  • Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
  • Resolving any problems with the team, plans and budget to ensure that the project flows smoothly.
  • Identifying potential problems with the project, leading the team into developing solutions and ensuring that they are implemented.
  • Hosting meetings to track and drive progress of projects.
  • Build, develop and maintain relationships within the project team.
  • Working with third-party contractors/suppliers to develop viable time scales and working practices.
  • Manage project schedules in conjunction with the Project Manager.

Qualifications & Skills Required

  • Degree in Engineering or experience in relevant engineering fields (Mechanical / Electrical)
  • Production or Engineering experience
  • Experience in Project Engineering
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, translate product drawings into actionable process information and develop design ideas and plans successfully
  • Strong verbal and written. communication skills and the ability to cultivate good relationships.
  • Understanding of design and visualisation software.
  • Excellent analytical and judgement skills.
  • Work autonomously with the ability to set and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build morale among the teams and drive projects through the business.
  • Excellent understanding of customer expectations and deliverables and the desire to produce good quality products.
