About the role

This is an exciting time to be joining our team based in Southampton and being involved in supporting the port activities as car driver. You will be required to assist with the movement of vehicles on and off vessels at Southampton Docks.

This is a flexible opportunity and you may be requested to work day, evening and weekend shifts.

Your daily responsibilities will consist of:

Loading / discharging vehicles on Roll on/ Roll off ship

The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:

Be at least 21 years old.

Have a full driving licence.

Have a minimum of 12 months can driving experience (in order to comply with our insurance) with no more than 6 points on the driving licence and no drink driving disqualifications.

Excellent communication skills.

Smart appearance.

Successful candidates will be expected to attend Health and Safety Induction and a car driving assessment. You will be subject to Identification checks, referencing and DVLA checks.

Competitive payment of £12.89 per hour weekdays and £13.45 per hour weekends and bank holidays, inclusive of paid annual leave accrual.
