Key Responsibilities of a Product Design Engineer:

• Utilise your expertise in Solidworks to design and develop innovative electronic products from concept to production.
• Drive product development initiatives, contributing creative ideas and solutions to meet evolving market demands.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and marketing to ensure seamless product integration and success.
• A focus on Design for Manufacture
• Knowledge of plastics, properties and design principles

Qualifications of a Product Design Engineer:

• Degree in Product Design, or related field
• Proven experience in product design and development within the electronics industry (At least 1 year of industry experience)
• Proficiency in Solidworks and extensive knowledge of plastic injection moulding techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a passion for driving results in a dynamic team environment.
