An excellent opportunity is now available for a talented and proven Architectural Technician to join a well-established Architectural studio in Southampton. With an extensive history of delivering award-winning Residential led schemes, our client are going through a huge period of growth and an influx of new work in the Residential sector and with Housing Developments. This opportunity is ideal for any experienced Architectural Technicians who are looking to join a busy and thriving studio that offer a great work environment, flexible work and great benefits and remuneration package.

Duties:

  • Manage delegated projects, overseeing timescales and maintaining client liaison, ensuring alignment with project goals
  • Contribute expertise to a variety of bespoke projects, from stage 3 (developed design) onwards
  • Produce Stage 0-3 planning drawings, sketches, and schematics
  • Execute large-scale construction detailing and produce working drawings (Stage 3-6 preferable), with proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
  • Work independently and collaboratively within the team to ensure project success
  • Taking part in client meetings and collaborating on internal design meetings to deliver the projects successfully and ideally with good presentation and communication skills
 

Requirements:

  • Degree Qualified in Architecture or similar field (or equivalent qualification)
  • Strong experience in UK-based projects, particularly in large scale Residential developments
  • High proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is a must have
  • Background in architectural design, demonstrating expertise in producing planning drawings and schematics for residential developments
  • Experience in large-scale construction detailing and the production of working drawings, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills
