About the role  

We are excited to be recruiting for a Product Designer (UI/UX) to work for a forward-thinking technology business within the property sector.  

Sitting in the Product department, the Product Designer focusing on UI/UX, will lead their  design initiatives, ensuring that all products are not only aesthetically pleasing but also user intuitive and aligned with the business goals. The role is central to transforming innovative ideas into tangible designs, crafting interfaces that resonate with users, reflect  brand values and enhancing the overall user experience. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and refine product design strategies, ensuring they align with company objectives and user expectations. 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, subject matter experts, technical authorities and the customers to gather and interpret requirements that inform how the design element will deliver the best user experience. 

  • Transform concepts and requirements into user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes, creating compelling and intuitive user interfaces, optimizing user interaction and experience. 

  • Conduct user research and usability testing to validate designs and gather feedback. 

  • From time-to-time, additional offshore resource maybe required; the Product Designer will be the lead on UI/UX design, setting clear goals and expectations, working closely and collaboratively to deliver designs of an equal standard. 

  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in UI/UX design, incorporating these into design practices and processes. 

Requirements: 

  • Extensive experience in UI/UX design, particularly in creating interfaces for web and mobile applications. 

  • Demonstrates essential skills using Figma as our design software of choice. 

  • Strong portfolio showcasing innovative design solutions and a user-centric approach. 

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically. 

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to articulate design concepts clearly to various audiences. 

  • Capable leadership skills, with the ability to guide and inspire a design team.
