We are currently seeking a temporary Meter Reader to support our team in accurately recording utility meter readings during a specified period.

Responsibilities:

1. Visit assigned locations to read and record utility meters, including electricity, gas, and water meters, according to established routes and schedules.
2. Identify and report any irregularities or discrepancies observed during meter readings, such as damaged meters or unusual consumption patterns.
3. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanour when interacting with customers or property occupants during meter reading activities.
4. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure personal safety and the safety of others while performing meter reading duties.
5. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to report progress, issues, or concerns encountered during meter reading assignments.
6. Complete all assigned meter reading tasks within the specified timeframe and meet productivity targets as required.

This assignment requires you to work the following hours (for that week only):

- Friday 28th June, hours: 12pm - 6pm

- Saturday 29th June, hours: 10am - 4pm

- Monday 1st July, hours: 10am - 4pm

The areas covered are Polygon and Portswood (good knowledge of these areas is required)

A trial day is offered in June (paid) to allow the worker to get the hang of the job.
