Principal People is delighted to collaborate with a unique and diverse organisation that is involved in a variety of activities within property management, maintenance, construction and events.
  
The successful Health and Safety Advisor will lead on Health and Safety matters within the organisation, delivering and creating the internal agenda and working closely with a variety of stakeholders and clients.
  
Based at a unique site, this part-time position will operate on a 22.5-hour working week spread across 3 – 5 working days, depending on the successful candidate's preference.
  
Health and Safety Advisor – Part-time – Portsmouth
  
Responsibilities include:
  • Providing Health and Safety advice, guidance and support to all internal and external teams
  • Conduct detailed audits and inspections
  • Lead on accident and incident investigations
  • Reviewing risk assessments and method statements
  • Building relationships with key stakeholders and regularly reviewing the Health and Safety strategy
  • Complete and prepare reports on findings
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • NEBOSH General certificate or equivalent as a minimum.
  • Our client is open to all industry backgrounds but experience in a multifaceted environment is beneficial.
In return, the successful Health and Safety Advisor will receive:
  • Pro rata salary between £25,000 - £27,000 (22.5 hour working week)
