Salary: £45,000 to £47,000 per annum + benefits + overtime + training + opportunity to move up within their pay scale and job functions
Hours: 6am till 6pm, Shift Pattern - days only
Location: Commutable from Southampton, Portsmouth, Waterlooville, Fareham, Chichester and surrounding areas

We are recruiting for a reputable Manufacturer who are looking for a Facilities Engineer / Facilities Electrician to join their team and build a successful career. Responsibilities

As a Facilities Engineer / Site Electrician you will work within a small team of 3 Engineers, responsible for all plant facilities and site services including (but not limited to); lighting, power supplies, data cabling, pumps, compressors, motors, valves etc.  

The role will be varied and include;

·        Continually maintain and improve the efficiency and the effectiveness of plant site services and facilities equipment, working to set and planned targets/objectives.
·        Carry out preventative maintenance tasks in accordance with defined schedule.
·        Investigate and repair breakdowns.
·        Identify, investigate and rectify other processing/engineering problems, which cannot be corrected by the shift teams and need other specialist personnel, as necessary.
·        Ensure all spare parts are correctly logged and booked out of the engineering stores.
·        Record engineering down time using the maintenance data system, ensuring accurate information is being collated that enables clear actions to be taken.
·        Continually support the development of standard operating procedures (S.O.P’s) and ensure compliance to existing S.O.P’s.
·        Continually support the development and writing of Risk assessments.
·        Continually maintain and improve the site facilities.

Requirements

·        Electrically Qualified
·        Electrical installation background preferred, this could be in commercial and/or industrial
·        Working knowledge of facilities, such as lighting, cabling, power supplies, compressed air, vacuum and water pumping systems.
·        Confident Electrical Engineer working both reactive and proactively to maintenance problems.
·        Be organised and pro-active with a flexible approach to work tasks.
