A well established organisation in High Wycombe areseeking a Shipping Administrator to join them on a full-time permanent basis.


Your new role
As the Shipping Administrator, you will be responsiblefor:

  • The import instruction process to carriers
  • Ensuring courier shipments are sent out & delivered on time to our customers & global offices
  • Support a wider shipping team with day to day admin tasks e.g. manual shipping invoices & packing lists
  • Freight invoice approvals
  • Managing shipping inbox for imports, creating instructions to carriers and updating records
  • Liaise with relevant departments to co-ordinate courier shipments
  • Creating shipment invoices & packing lists
  • Ensure all courier shipment deliveries are made in line with customer and company requirements.
  • Act as contact for customer and internal queries relating to shipping or status enquiries.
  • Signing off Freight invoices from suppliers using Freight audit platform & reconciliation process
  • Maintaining and updating various existing spreadsheets.
  • Element of finance reconciliation and queries for invoices and making sure they are paid.
  • This role also offers the opportunity for progression within the department.



What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in applying for the positionof Shipping Administrator, you will have:

  • Keenness to learn and carry out new tasks and develop new skills, within a multi-functional role.
  • Sound analytical and interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation.
  • A good demonstration of prioritisation
  • Strong communication skills, internally and externally
  • A high standard of computer literacy with Excel v lookup skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Strong Administration experience
  • Previous experience of shipping and shipping procedures relating to import & courier shipments is ideal but not essential.
