Job Title: 3rd Line Technical Support Engineer

Location: Bicester/Remote (initially WFH with client sites visits around the Oxfordshire area)

Salary: £38,000- £42,000 (DOE)

My client, an established MSP is looking for an experienced 3rd Line Engineer to join their team. You will be responsible for supporting the IT infrastructure of all our customer base including server, storage, network, data, and applications.

Responsibilities:

  • 3rd line support- via telephone/email/ticketing systems
  • Troubleshooting of hardware/software issues
  • Maintenance and implementation of client infrastructure & servers
  • Diagnosis and resolution of issues and tickets
  • Regular site visits to customer sites across the Oxfordshire area

Skillset:

  • Microsoft Windows Server 2016 -2022
  • Microsoft desktop OS Windows 10 and 11 Professional
  • Macos, Apple IOS, Android (Desirable)
  • MS Active Directory
  • DNS, DHCP and network services
  • Hosted Exchange email services
  • Office 365/Azure/Hybrid including synchronisation.
  • Microsoft Intune and MDM
  • Server Virtualisation (Hyper-V / VMware)
  • LAN/VLAN/WAN (routers, switches, Wi-Fi, firewall)
  • Communications (VOIP, Leased Lines)
  • Dell/HP Server Hardware
