Electrical Design Engineer

A leading nuclear defence company is looking to bring on board an electrical design engineer to work on some of the most prestigious projects in the UK nuclear defence sector.
- Job Title -Electrical Design Engineer
- Location - Reading
- Contract length - 18 Months
- Pay Rates - £51.31 hour (OUTSIDE IR35)
This role will be fantastic for an electrically biased design engineer who is coming from a heavily regulated industry and is okay with the complexity of a role in the nuclear/defence sector.
Minimum requirements/experiences:
- Power distribution Designs
- Large PP&E earthing strategies
- Full understanding of the electrical design documentation such as schematics, BCDs and cable schedules
- A prior experience integrating with multi-discipline teams
- A decent configuration control understanding
- An installation and construction background and experience
- Past time spent working with key stakeholders and managing those relationships
