Setter Technician
- Salary: £32,436 per annum
- Hours: Monday-Friday (6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm) shift pattern - 37.5 hrs per wk
- Location: Huddersfield
- Duration: Permanent
Our client, a leading manufacturer based in Huddersfield is seeking a Setter Technician to join their growing and successful team. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious and skilled setter to join their ever-growing team and take part in their continued success.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting, operating and maintaining mechanical machinery based on specific production requirements to ensure a smooth and consistent production process.
This also involves monitoring the performance of the machine and taking immediate action in case of malfunctions or breakdowns.
Requirements
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Engineering qualification is advantageous
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and execute to a high standard
- Strong attention to detail skills to minimise reduced waste due to faults or errors.
- Understanding of technical processes and able to operate manufacturing equipment when required
- Proactively problem-solving and ability thinking on your feet
