What You’ll Be Doing as HGV Technician
- Carrying out routine and breakdown maintenance on buses and coaches
- Performing diagnostics, repairs, and servicing on engines, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems
- Conducting MOT and PSV testing support (where applicable)
- Maintaining high safety and quality standards in line with company procedures
- Supporting workshop colleagues and contributing to a team-focused environment
- Keeping accurate maintenance records and completing compliance documentation
What you need to have as HGV Technician
- NVQ Level 3 HGV Technician or equivalent with experience in PSV / commercial vehicles
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills, including brakes, engines, electrical systems, and hydraulics
- Familiarity with vehicle safety standards, MOT, PSV regulations, and compliance paperwork
- Ability to work independently and as part of a workshop team
- Positive attitude, reliability, and excellent time management
