M&E Engineer (Static Site) – Kings Hill, Kent

£40,000 | Monday–Friday | 8am–5pm | Leading FM Provider

A leading Facilities Management Provider is looking for an experienced M&E Engineer to join their team on a prestigious static site in Kings Hill, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a key contract for a major FM provider, delivering high-quality planned and reactive maintenance within a professional commercial environment.

The Role

As the site-based M&E Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across mechanical and electrical systems. You’ll play a key role in ensuring building services are maintained safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out PPMs in line with site schedules
• Responding to reactive maintenance and breakdowns
• Fault finding on mechanical and electrical systems
• Maintaining plant room equipment and building services
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations
• Completing maintenance reports and job documentation
• Supporting the wider engineering team when required

Requirements

• Previous experience in a commercial maintenance / FM environment
• Electrically or mechanically qualified (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
• Good fault-finding and maintenance experience
• Strong understanding of building services systems
• Ability to work independently on a static site
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
