Quality Manager

We're looking for an experienced Quality Manager to join a major distribution operation at an exciting stage of its development. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment, enjoys being close to the operation, and can combine strong leadership with hands-on quality management.

As Quality Manager you'll take ownership of the site's quality function, leading a team of quality Inspectors while working closely with operational teams to drive standards, improve processes, and embed a culture of continuous improvement. The business is investing heavily in its people, processes, and operational excellence, making this an excellent opportunity to influence meaningful change.

Candidates from large distribution centres, logistics providers, 3PL operations, or manufacturing environments with significant warehousing activity are encouraged to apply.

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Quality Inspectors.
• Champion quality standards across the distribution operation.
• Spend time within the warehouse identifying trends, investigating issues, and supporting operational teams.
• Maintain and continuously improve Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) processes.
• Plan and conduct internal audits, ensuring compliance with company and customer requirements.
• Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective & Preventative Actions (CAPA) to resolve quality issues effectively.
• Lead internal ISO9001 audits
• Use data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and enhance operational quality.

• Previous experience within a distribution, logistics, 3PL, or large-scale warehousing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, compliance, and auditing processes.
• Prior experience leading internal audits and a good understanding if IOS9001.
• Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Proven track record of driving quality improvements and implementing corrective actions.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with a practical, hands-on approach.
• Experience leading, mentoring, and developing quality teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
