The below job description will outline this position of: Business Systems Analyst

Typically, this individual will lead the technical support, enhancement, and development of the company's ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and HRIS (Human Resources Information System). This involves configuring, customising, and integrating the systems to align with business requirements.

Duties and responsibilities of the Business Systems Analyst:

  • Supervise the operation, maintenance and availability of core business systems.
  • Identify ERP needs through business process analysis and consultation.
  • Evaluate existing systems and implement enhancements as needed.
  • Customise work flows, scripts and configurations for ERP and HRIS systems.
  • Develop intuitive functionalities and interfaces to enhance user experience.
  • Manage ERP software installation, upgrades, and integration with other systems.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests and troubleshoot issues to optimise system performance.
  • Provide technical support, documentation, and training to ERP and HRIS end-users.
  • Enhance and maintain ERP reporting systems.
  • Stay informed about the latest ERP upgrades and offerings.
  • Foster relationships with external partners and consultants.
  • Collaborate with senior managers and key users to align systems with business needs.
  • Coordinate ERP and HRIS procurement with Group IT Manager and/or CFO.
  • Ensure systems upgrades and implementations, including patches and security updates.
  • Analyse emerging business requirements and propose suitable systems solutions.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity within ERP and HRIS systems.
  • Adhere to company policies and industry regulations.
  • Able to work in a busy multi site IT support environment.

Qualifications and requirement for the Business Systems Analyst:

  • At Least 5 years experience implementing and supporting ERP and HRIS systems.
  • ERP and HRIS support and development experience.
  • Experience in identifying and implementing business systems enhancements and upgrades.
  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Studies or Extensive experience in a similar role.
  • Desirable - ITIL - IT Service management or any ERP certification (Microsoft, Oracle, SAP or Sage etc.)
  • Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or Microsoft Navison.
  • Great organisational and time management skills.
  • Microsoft Excel, Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Jet reports or similar reporting solution.
  • Systems, Systems Monitoring and Business Analysis.
  • UK Driving License.
  • Willing to travel to other sites if required.
