The role & about the client:
On behalf of our client, ITS Construction Professionals South are searching for an experienced Senior Architectural Technician to join a renowned, award-winning Architectural practise in Southampton.
They are looking for a talented and experienced senior architectural technician to join their expanding technical team. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who has an interest and the experience in producing quality working technical drawings for residential projects.
Key Responsibilities
The role will involve interpreting client briefs and the production of working drawings and technical documents while complying to the latest legislation. The senior architectural technician assists with the delegation of projects to technicians and oversee timescales & quality control while liaising with clients and external parties. An opportunity is there to develop and gain wider experience and knowledge, progressing within the technical team.
Essential Qualifications/ experience required/ specific requirements for the role
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience (UK based) working on residential/mixed-use projects for developer clients and national housebuilders
- Sound technical knowledge and understanding of building regulations
- Proficient in AutoCAD; REVIT is desirable but not essential
- Sound knowledge of M4 (CAT 2 & 3) & NDSS
- Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Desire to progress and attend CPD
- Full UK Driver Licence
Where a range of rate of pay is quoted the level of experience, qualifications & related training required is the minimum required in order to qualify for the lowest rate of pay quoted.
